    Welcome to SmartFlok, operated by SmartFlok . By accessing or using our poultry management platform and marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a fair, secure, and productive environment for all users.

    User Content & Zero-Tolerance Policy

    SmartFlok includes a community where users post and comment. You are solely responsible for the content you post. We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content, including content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, fraudulent, spam, or illegal.

    • You may report any post or comment, and block any user, from the post menu in the app.
    • We review reported content and remove violations — and ban offending users — typically within 24 hours.
    • By posting, you agree not to upload objectionable content and accept that violations may result in content removal and account termination.

    Account & Payment Terms

    Account Requirements

    • Must be 18+ years old or have guardian consent
    • Provide accurate and current information
    • One account per user or business entity

    Payment Processing

    • Secure payment through verified processors
    • Marketplace payments held in secure escrow
    • Transparent fee structure and pricing
    • Refund policy based on vendor terms

    How Marketplace Escrow Works

    When a buyer places an order, payment is collected upfront and held in a secure escrow account operated by our verified third-party payment processors. Funds are not released to the vendor at the point of sale.

    Escrowed funds are released to the vendor's SmartFlok wallet once the buyer confirms delivery, or automatically 48 hours after delivery if the buyer does not raise an issue. The vendor may then withdraw funds to a linked bank account or mobile money wallet.

    If a buyer raises a dispute within the confirmation window, the funds remain in escrow until the dispute is resolved under our dispute-resolution process. Where a refund is due, it is issued from escrow in line with the vendor's stated refund terms and applicable consumer protections.

    SmartFlok facilitates this escrow service to protect both buyers and vendors, but is not a party to the underlying sale contract between them. Escrow timelines and fees may be updated from time to time and will be reflected at checkout.

    Prohibited Activities

    The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension:

    Fraudulent or deceptive practices
    Selling prohibited or illegal products
    Misrepresenting product quality or origin
    Harassment or abusive behavior
    Spamming or unsolicited communications
    Attempting to circumvent platform fees
    Using the platform for money laundering
    Violating intellectual property rights

    Service Limitations

    While we strive to provide reliable service, please understand these limitations:

    Platform availability may be interrupted for maintenance
    Market transactions are between users, not SmartFlok
    Agricultural advice is informational, not professional consultation
    Weather and external factors may affect service accuracy
    Third-party payment processors handle financial transactions
    Internet connectivity issues may impact platform access
